Doug is the CEO of Clubs Queensland, and he has over 27 years in leadership positions as an owner-operator, consultant, and senior Management Executive in the Tourism, Retail, Property, Not-for-Profit and Hospitality (Restaurant, Hotel, Community Club) sectors, with a focus on innovation, implementation, professionalism, communication and relationships.  He is a past board member of the Queensland Governments Office of Liquor, Gaming and Regulation ‘Queensland Gaming Commission’ and the Queensland Department of Primary Industry – Food and Fibre Sciences Division, Centre for Food Technology.

Born in Brisbane, he is married with two children and has a passion for many things including flying.  Doug holds a Private Pilots license with a Command Instrument Rating and he has been flying since the age of sixteen.
